 T he opening closely resembles Coriandre (the edt) by Jean Couturier through the same slightly pungent and bothering smell of dry, bitter leaves. It is all about an almost vegetal-animalic backdrop in the same vein as a dark and humid forest. A couple minutes in and the two fragrances unwind: there is nothing unpleasant left and they go their separate ways. 

The background holds its position but downsizes its presence, proceeding as an anchoring element for the rest of the components. It smells mossy in a relaxed way. I perceive a pregnant lemon zest odour, adequately bitter and citrussy. The combination is just great and dominates the evolution of Soir de Lune. 

The sweet side exists, of course, and is judiciously made. It preponderantly appears as honey, not dense and pretty obvious. The rose does not stand out as powerfully as in Coriandre (the edp), it being mixed in well amongst the other ingredients. 

Soir de Lune includes an earthy element, almost masticable, as the one characteristic of gasoline (although the perfume does not smell of it), which causes me the same itchy sensation of gums that I get from that hard, crumbly and very salty cheese in the shape of a wheel, like Grana Padano for example; a similar smell and effect I encountered in Gucci Absolute (for men) by Gucci. It looks like patchouli, however it is a clean, airy one. 

All the notes specified above produce a fragrant composition that is so addictive. 

What Soir de Lune inspires me: a mature woman, dressed in a blazer and a pencil skirt, wearing heels, having her hair done and minimal make-up, running a business. 

An excellent perfume. 

My verdict: 10 out of 10.

 Î nceputul seamănă extrem de mult cu apa de toaletă Coriandre de Jean Couturier prin același miros ușor înțepător și supărător ca niște frunze uscate, amărui. Este vorba de un fundal aproape vegetal-animalic ca de pădure întunecoasă și umedă. După două minute, cele două parfumuri se destind, nu mai au nimic neplăcut, și o iau pe cărări separate. 

Fundalul rămâne stabil, dar își reduce prezența, continuând ca un element de ancorare a restului componentelor. Miroase ca mușchiul de copac, dar lejer. Simt pregnant o aromă de coajă de lămâie, amăruie atât cât trebuie și citrică. Combinația este foarte reușită și domină evoluția lui Soir de Lune. 

Fațeta dulce există, bineînțeles și este gândită bine. Apare preponderent sub forma mierii, deloc densă și foarte evidentă. Trandafirul nu iese în față atât de puternic ca în apa de parfum Coriandre, acesta fiind amestecat bine printre celelalte ingrediente. 

Soir de Lune conține un element „earthy”, aproape masticabil, ca cel caracteristic benzinei (deși parfumul nu miroase a benzină), care îmi dă aceeași senzație de mâncărime a gingiilor precum o face brânza dură, sfărâmicioasă și foarte sărată sub formă de roată, ca Grana Padano, de exemplu; un miros și efect similare le-am întâlnit și la Guilty Absolute de Gucci, varianta bărbătească. Seamănă cu paciuliul, însă este unul curat, aerat. 

Toate notele enumerate mai sus alcătuiesc o compoziție parfumată care îmi dă efectiv dependență. 

Ce îmi inspiră Soir de Lune: o femeie matură, în sacou și fustă trei sferturi strânsă pe corp, cu tocuri, cu părul coafat și machiaj minim, într-o funcție de conducere. 

Un parfum excelent.
