 T he rose is the first arriving to my nose and the one dominating the fragrance through and through. Its odour reminds me of my childhood when I was drinking juice made out of rose petals immersed in water with sugar. Only that the honey replaces the sugar in Coriandre which turns

out nicer and more elegant this way. This kind of sweetness makes me think of honeysuckle.

The rose feels dense but there is no discomfort as the perfume lacks projection. Plus it relaxes as time goes by. The rose induces a noticeable metallic effect which I find so fitting here.

The sweet element is counterbalanced by a pleasant and tart citrussy note immitating grated lemon peel. I associate the slight vegetal bitterness present at once with the white membrane under that peel, but also with a green leaf crushed between the fingers.

Coriander's backbone is represented by some sort of mossiness which feels quite synthetic and, interestingly, not bad. Probably because the aforesaid rose, honey and citrussy notes make it more enjoyable.

The fragrance only smells floral because of the rose, not really sensing any other flowers.

Some vetiver peeks through when I spray a lot of the perfume on the same area of the skin and I breath in closely enough after a few hours.

Overall, the mixture exudes a certain fizziness, an important element which brings airiness and ties everything together.

On my first day of using it and just then, Coriandre made its presence trenchantly, enveloping me like an aura. On the next days however, my nose failed to pick it up, therefore it had already gotten used to it.

Coriandre is a jovial, feminine scent, for mature persons, ruled by rose the sweetness of which, curiously, I find enjoyable (and I don't even like perfumes that are too sweet).

My verdict: 8 out of 10.

 T randafirul este primul care îmi ajunge la nas și care domină de la un capăt la altul parfumul. Aroma sa imi amintește de copilărie, când beam suc realizat din petale de trandafir puse în apă cu zahăr. Doar că zahărul este înlocuit cu miere în Coriandre și mi se pare mai elegant și mai plăcut așa. Acest tip de dulceață mă duce cu gândul la cea a caprifoiului.

Trandafirului îl simt dens, dar pentru că parfumul nu are intensitatea mare, nu există niciun disconfort. Plus că se relaxează pe parcurs. Trandafirul produce un efect metalic vizibil pe care îl găsesc atât de potrivit aici.

Elementul dulce este balansat de o notă citrică acrișoară foarte plăcută ce imită aroma cojii rase de lămâie. Ușoara amăreală vegetală prezentă în paralel o asociez pieliței albe de sub coajă, dar și unei frunze verzi, vii, zdrobite între degete.

Coloana vertebrală a lui Coriandre este reprezentată de un fel de aromă de mușchi de pământ pe care o simt destul de sintetică și, interesant, deloc rea. Probabil pentru că trandafirul, mierea și nota citrică menționate mai sus o fac mai agreabilă. 

Parfumul miroase floral doar prin prisma trandafirului, nesimțind în mod evident alte flori.

Vetiverul apare vag când aplic foarte multe pufuri de parfum în același loc pe piele și îmi apropii nasul de locul respectiv după câteva ore.

Per ansamblu, amestecul emană o anumită efervescență, un element important care aerează compoziția și leagă totul la un loc. 

În prima zi de folosire și doar atunci, Coriandre și-a făcut prezența categoric, învăluindu-mă ca o aură. În zilele următoare însă, nasul meu nu prea l-a mai detectat, deci deja se obișnuise cu el.

Coriandre este un parfum simpatic, feminin, pentru persoane mature, dominat de trandafir, a cărui dulceața, în mod curios, îmi place (și nici măcar nu mă încântă parfumurile prea dulci).

Nota mea: 8 din 10.
