Was Jontue a good perfume at the moment of its first launch? I have no idea. Some voices claim that it differed from the one that is selling now. As I cannot comment on either of the two previous statements, I will approach the problem the other way around. I will consider Jontue, in

the actual formula, to be a new perfume that has just seen the light and about which I only know what I smell now.

Jontue smells of sweetish tisane, maybe flowery or maybe fruity. But I find it impossible to distinguish between the two facets which participate to the composition. The sweetness is dull and cheap. The other odour that I feel resembles the texture of corn puffs. I do not know if the better word should be "mossy". And thirdly, Jontue makes me think of cigarettes. Not that it releases such an aroma, but it has something almost "dark" which suggests maturity, a mature woman anyway.

I identified Jontue's problem right from the start: its transparency. It has such a diluted scent that it seems like a tisane made out of one drop of ingredients combined with one litre of water. After ten sprayings, I barely detect it in the air.

Upon 1h30' from the application, Jontue becomes powdery and slightly sour, only smelled very close to the skin, with the nose positioned not more than 2 cm away from it. And yes, now we are getting somewhere; that is a nice perfume. Completely different from the watered liquid in the beginning and actually interesting. And this stage lasts around three hours after which the sour powder disappears leaving its place to a rather pleasant, sweet, and fruity odour. However, the depiction from this paragraph is useless because, in the air, the initial insipidness is what dominates, that undefined, senseless odour. I put "dominates" between quotation marks as I can barely feel it. And this is a shame seeing that I do not use a perfume in order to stay with my nose buried in the skin.

Where are the official notes of the fragrance? I feel none. If I induced myself a placebo effect to the brain, perhaps I would say that I smell tuberose (the one used in perfumes, not like the flower's real scent), benzoin, maybe oakmoss and sage, improbably.

Until now, only one perfume received a really low ranking on my blog and that is Soirée d'Été by Héloïse de V. And I am obliged to confess that I consider that one a work of art compared to Jontue.

Jontue's smell has something interesting which is still in its infancy, a base onto which the future composition might be developed. It is a fragrance with potential only for three hours and only smelled up-close. That's it.

As a conclusion, Jontue is a waist of time and, as such, I do not recommend it. But not the same thing I would say about my time spent writing this review. I hope that people find it useful so that everybody will stop buying such useless products and, possibly, companies will give up releasing trifles.

My verdict:  1 out of 10.

 A  fost Jontue un parfum bun atunci când s-a lansat pentru prima oară? Nu știu. Diverse voci susțin că era diferit de ceea ce se găsește acum spre vânzare. Deoarece nu pot comenta niciuna dintre cele două caracteristici, voi aborda problema în sens invers. Voi considera că Jontue, în formula prezentă, este un parfum apărut nou pe piață și că ce știu despre el este doar ceea ce miros acum, lucru real de fapt.

Jontue miroase ca un ceai dulceag, poate floral sau poate fructat. Însă îmi este imposibil să stabilesc care dintre cele două fațete chiar participă la compoziție. Dulceața este palidă și ieftină. Cealaltă aromă pe care o simt este asemănătoare texturii pufuleților de porumb deoarece nu știu cum altfel să o descriu în limba română. În engleză, cuvântul ar fi fost „mossy”. Iar în al treilea rând, Jontue mă duce cu gândul la țigări. Nu că ar emana un asemenea miros, dar are ceva aproape „întunecat” care îmi sugerează maturitate, o femeie matură în orice caz.

Am identificat problema lui Jontue încă de la început: transparența. Are o aromă atât de diluată încât pare un ceai făcut doar dintr-o picătură de ingrediente adăugate la un litru de apă. După zece pulverizări, aproape că nici nu îl simt în aer.

Cam după 1h și jumătate de la aplicare, Jontue devine pudrat și ușor acrișor, mirosit doar pe piele și doar de la o distanță de maximum 2 cm. Și da, așa mai merge; ăsta da parfum plăcut. Complet diferit de apa diluată de la început și cu adevărat interesant. Iar acest stadiu durează vreo trei ore după care pudra acrișoară dispare lăsând locul unui parfum dulceag și fructat, dar altfel față de cel de la început și mai interesant. Însă descrierea din acest paragraf nu folosește la nimic deoarece, în aer, domină spălăcitura inițială, acel miros nedefinit, fără sens. Pun „domină” între ghilimele, căci abia dacă îl percep. Și este păcat, deoarece nu folosesc un parfum ca să stau cu nasul lipit de piele.

Unde sunt notele din descrierea oficială a parfumului? Nu simt nimic. Poate așa, dacă mă bazez pe un efect placebo indus de mine însămi, să zic că simt tuberoză (din cea folosită în parfumuri, nu precum aroma florii reale), benzoe, poate mușchi de stejar și, tras de păr, salvie.

Până în momentul de față, doar unui singur parfum i-am mai acordat un calificativ extrem de mic în acest blog, lui Soirée d'Été de Héloïse de V. Și trebuie să mărturisesc că acela pare operă de artă în comparație cu Jontue. 

Mirosul lui Jontue are ceva interesant, dar parcă este doar un început, o bază pe care poate fi dezvoltată compoziția ulterioară. Este un parfum cu potențial, dar doar pentru trei ore și doar mirosit aproape de piele. Atât.

În concluzie, Jontue este o pierdere de timp și, ca urmare, nu îl recomand nimănui. Însă nu același lucru îl consider și despre timpul petrecut scriind această recenzie. Sper ca ea să fie utilă astfel încât nimeni să nu mai cumpere asemenea produse inutile și poate, în acest fel, companiile vor renunța să mai comercializeze prostii.
