 Not long ago, I tested Soirée d'Été in a bricks-and-mortar store together with the other four fragrances in the brand's range. None of them seemed interesting; only this one stood out, also having the greatest intensity. I forgot about it until one day when I observed the 30% discount. And I bought it.

What can I say? It's a bummer. At first, it smells so clearly of perfume made for washing machine detergent/fabric softener/household cleaning product, harsh, a little bit sharp, cold, fresh, and floral.  I like these types of scents. But here is a problem. The scent is flat, a little stuffy, and clogged (I don't know what other word I could use here). These last three characteristics just buried the freshness of the perfume deep down so I can barely feel it. I know it is there, but it lacks intensity. It is like someone is speaking to me from behind a distant glass wall: I understand what he/she is saying, but the words sound low-pitched.

None of the notes listed on the brand's website come in the spotlight. Everything appears to be an undefined mixture. After some time, the aroma becomes slightly sweeter and more rounded.

It is excessively expensive compared to what it has to offer, its full price of 50 € (58 $) for 50 ml being unbelievable to me. Even on sales, I find it to be costly. Maybe precious ingredients were used, because I cannot find other explanation. But my nose doesn't perceive it. Maybe a lot of money were invested in the box and in the bottle design / materials as, I admit, they look very good and higher-grade.

In the end, the discharged scent is what counts to me and nothing else, but I find Soirée d'Été to be a characterless, uninteresting amalgam who lacks life.

♔Fabricat în Franța.

 Nu demult, am testat Soirée d'Été într-un magazin fizic împreună cu restul de 4 parfumuri din gama brandului. Niciunul nu mi s-a părut reușit; doar acesta a ieșit în evidență având și cea mai mare intensitate imediată. Am uitat de el până când, într-o zi, am observat reduceri de 30%. Și l-am cumparat.

Ce pot să spun? Eroare. Inițial, miroase foarte evident a parfum pentru detergent/balsam de rufe/produs casnic, aspru, puțin ascuțit, rece, proaspăt și floral. Îmi plac aceste tipuri de parfumuri. Dar există o problemă.  Aroma este plată, puțin îmbâcsită și înfundată (nu știu ce alt cuvânt aș putea folosi). Aceste trei caracteristici tocmai au îngropat prospețimea parfumului foarte adânc astfel încât abia o mai simt. Știu că este acolo, dar îi lipsește intensitatea. Este ca și cum cineva îmi vorbește de dincolo de un perete de sticlă îndepărtat: înțeleg ce îmi spune, dar cuvintele le percep în registrul cel mai de jos.

Niciuna dintre notele enumerate pe site-ul brandului nu se detașează. Totul pare un amestec nedefinit. După trecerea unui timp, aroma capătă o nuanță ușor dulce și devine mai rotundă. 

Este excesiv de scump pentru ceea ce oferă, prețul său întreg de 50 € (58 $) pentru 50 ml fiind ceva de neimaginat pentru mine. Chiar și redus, mi se pare scump. Poate au fost folosite ingrediente costisitoare, căci altă explicație nu găsesc. Însă nu percep acest lucru olfactiv. Poate au costat mult designul și materialele ambalajului și ale sticlei căci, ce-i drept, ambele arată foarte bine și pot observa calitatea.

Până la urmă însă, ceea ce contează pentru mine este aroma emanată, dar Soirée d'Été reprezintă un amalgam fără caracter, neinteresant și căruia îi lipsește viața.
