I  am getting a lemon-like citrussy note, dense, vegetal and sour at the same time; it is as if I am smelling a big dose of bergamot. It makes me picture a bathroom full of steam where someone just took a shower with a very nice lemon, slightly herbal, scented washing product.

The citrus fruit is not juicy; on the contrary, Cravache has an almost powdery effect. There is also a faint dryness which I would associate with chalk, however, the result does not disturb at a such low level.

All of the above pair well with the cold and smooth sensation that I am perceiving from the fragrance and it leaves the impression that it includes aniseed or mint. The latter, together with a vegetal facet very similar to tarragon, place Cravache in the aromatic category.

Although the composition feels somewhat masculine, it is also sweet, which makes me consider it unisex. I want to say that the sweetness is akin to powdered sugar. Maybe. What the perfume definitely has is a lemon hard candy facet.

If I spray the fragrance on skin, as opposed to on clothes, it smells sweaty in the drydown, with  the sour component still present. And I like it.

Cravache has one problem though. For an unknown reason, it becomes dusty when I am wearing it outside, an issue I've encountered with other perfumes too: H24 by Hermès (the edp), Peau intense by Montana and Verveine by L'Occitane en Provence. So I am wearing it only inside the home.

Having said that, I enjoy Cravache a lot, a joyful and addictive fragrance.

My verdict: 9 out of 10.
