I t smells good: warm, dense, sweet like amber, and some might place it in the nighttime fragrance category.
I perceive some type of liqueur aroma, but without the alcoholic part, slightly pointy, with canned fruits which seem tropical, maybe papaya and pineapple, and with vanillin notes. I am not really a fan of vanilla in perfumes, however, here it is well masked by plenty of oakmoss / tree moss so that Peau Intense stays away from the gastronomic realm. Additionally, it preserves parts of the fizzy facet that Parfum de Peau de Montana shows.
I clearly recognise the moss right from the beginning and this intensifies in time, dominating the scent. Thanks to it, Peau Intense smells like the vegetation of a dark, wet forest, getting to a very pleasant dryness (but not woody) which makes me think of Cabochard (edt) by Grès or, even better, of Jean-Louis Scherrer (edt) by Jean-Louis Scherrer.
A defining characteristic of Peau Intense that is missing from Parfum de Peau is the lovely cosmetic compact powder, finely milled, silky to the touch, which I feel creamy-milky in the opening, confering an air of sophisitication on the entire composition.
Peau Intense smells more mature and elegant than Parfum de Peau. Unlike the latter, it goes into the animalic area when it is very hot outside. The metallic tinge seems to intensify in that moment, becoming urinous, not too pleasant, similar to the one in Cuir Cuba Intense by Nicolaï Parfumeur-Créateur and Création by Ted Lapidus, but at a lower level.
In terms of artistic creation, Peau Intense deserves a 10. I gave the final grade using indulgence considering that there are some shortfalls because of which it would merit only an 8:
- It smells synthetic - the principal drawback.
- Sometimes, the powdery note turns dusty and everything acquires an air of cheapness.
- The metallic facet does not bother me; having said that, when the fragrance becomes dusty, the combination between the two amplifies the synthetic odour which feels more irritating now.
Peau Intense exhibits artistic qualities. It would have been ideal if they had utilized better ingredients.
My verdict: 9 out of 10.

Miroase bine: cald, dens, dulce ca chihlimbarul și unii l-ar încadra la categoria de parfum de seară.
Percep un fel de aromă de lichior, dar fără partea alcoolică, puțin de tot ascuțită, de fructe la conservă care par tropicale, poate papaya și ananas, cu note de vanilină. Nu prea agreez vanilia în parfumuri, însă aici este mascată de mult mușchi de stejar/copac și Peau Intense nu intră în zona gastronomică în niciun moment. În plus, păstrează un pic din fațeta efervescentă a lui Parfum de Peau de Montana.
Sesizez mușchiul încă de la început în mod foarte clar și acesta se intensifică în timp, dominând aroma. Datorită lui, Peau Intense miroase a vegetație de pădure întunecată și umedă, căpătând și o uscăciune foarte plăcută (însă nu lemnoasă) ce mă trimite cu gândul la Cabochard (edt) de Grès sau, și mai bine, la Jean-Louis Scherrer (edt) de Jean-Louis Scherrer.
Definitorie pentru Peau Intense, lipsind din Parfum de Peau, este nota de pudră cosmetică compactă foarte plăcută, măcinată fin, mătăsoasă la atingere, pe care o simt și cremos-lăptoasă în deschidere, conferind întregii compoziții un aer sofisticat.
Peau Intense miroase mult mai matur și mai elegant decât Parfum de Peau. Spre deosebire de acesta din urmă, se duce și în zona animalică când este foarte cald afară. Tenta metalică pare a i se intensifica atunci, devenind urinoasă, nu prea plăcută, asemănătoare într-un fel cu cea din Cuir Cuba Intense de Nicolaï Parfumeur-Créateur și Création de Ted Lapidus, dar la un nivel mai redus.
Din punctul de vedere al creației artistice, Peau Intense merită un 10. I-am dat nota finală cu indulgență, căci are următoarele hibe din cauza cărora i s-ar cuveni doar un 8:
- miroase sintetic - principalul neajuns;
- câteodată, nota pudrată ajunge sa fie prăfoasă, lucru care imprimă un aspect de ieftin;
- fațeta sa metalică nu mă incomodează; cu toate acestea, când parfumul devine prăfos, combinația dintre ele două amplifică aroma sintetică care mi se pare mai agasantă acum.
Peau Intense demonstrează calități artistice. Ar fi fost ideal dacă s-ar fi utilizat niște ingrediente mai bune.
Nota mea: 9 din 10.
