 C uir Andalou starts dense and deep. What I immediately sense can only be the leather accord which will dominate and run all the way through the fragrance existence. It is like smelling hundreds of leather objects at once: handbags, shoes etc. It is not an aggressive odour and it
does not disturb me. It feels slightly unnatural here and there, just as the scent of natural leather products is, and I really like it.

At first, I link it to the black, shiny leather. Then the perfume evolves and acquires accents of suede, becoming more accessible and more mellow.

Cuir Andalou is fairly sweet in the first stage, going in the direction of dried fruits or maybe of dried plum. I have the impression that it would have felt rough, abrupt and raw without this sweetness. I cannot classify it as masculine and I put into the unisex area, it gravitating clearly towards the feminine realm.

The perfume is animalic without a doubt. Initially, this facet does not stick out, being counterbalanced by the sour/acid note which gets my attention immediately. It is that type of sourness/acidity characteristic to concentrated rose essence, but not necessarily smelling of rose or floral in here.

After 20 minutes, all the properties mentioned before drop in intensity. Now the animalic part comes foreward. Cuir Andalou smells not of urine or feces, but clearly of axilary sweat (although to use the term "animal" is not accurate as animals do not exude this kind of odour). And it is not the onion aroma but another one, more unpleasant and sort of not human. Yet it works well here as I do not feel it strong. Additionally, I perceive it together with the rest of the ingredients, as a whole, rendering the fragrance strongly sensual. And it fits perfectly in this combination.

Near the end, Cuir Andalou takes on an interesting aromatic character, quite shy and actually hard to smell. At this stage, the scent has left the feminine area and definitively veered into the unisex one.
A great and mature perfume.

I must specify that those around me do not seem too happy when I wear Cuir Andalou.

I find only one weakness: the intensity dramatically drops after spraying. The persistence is fine on garments.

My verdict: 9 out of 10.

 C uir Andalou începe dens și întunecat. Ceea ce simt din prima nu poate fi decât acordul de piele care va domina și se va menține pe întreaga durată a existenței parfumului. Este ca și cum ai mirosi în același timp sute de obiecte din piele: genți, pantofi etc. Nu este o aromă agresivă și nu mă deranjează. Pare puțin nenaturală pe alocuri, așa cum este și cea a produselor din piele reală și chiar îmi place așa.

La început, o asociez pielii negre, lucioase. Ulterior, parfumul evoluează și capătă accente de piele întoarsă, devenind olfactiv mai accesibil și mai moale.

Cuir Andalou este destul de dulce în primă fază, luând direcția fructelor confiate, poate chiar a prunei. Am impresia că ar fi părut necizelat, aspru și dur fără această dulceață. Nu îl pot încadra în categoria masculină și îl plasez în zona unisex, el tinzând clar către domeniul feminin.

Parfumul este animalic neîndoielnic. Inițial, această fațetă nu iese în evidență fiind contrabalansată de nota acră/acidă care îmi atrage atenția imediat. Este genul de acreală caracteristică esenței concentrate de trandafir, însă fără a mirosi clar a trandafir sau floral aici.

După 20 de minute, toate însușirile menționate anterior se reduc. Acum, se reliefează animalul. Cuir Andalou nu miroase urinos sau a fecale, dar cu siguranță a sudoare de axilă (deși este impropriu termenul de „animal” căci animalele nu excretă un asemenea miros); și nu din aceea cu aromă de ceapă, ci alta, mai neplăcută și parcă nu umană. Dar aici merge deoarece nu este puternică. În plus, o percep deodată cu restul ingredientelor, ca pe un tot unitar, dând parfumului un aspect senzual puternic. Și îi stă bine în această combinație. 

Către final, Cuir Andalou capătă un caracter aromatic interesant, destul de timid și greu de perceput totuși. În acest moment, parfumul a ieșit din teritoriul feminin și a virat decisiv către cel unisex. 
Un parfum bun și matur.

Trebuie să pomenesc că cei din jurul meu nu par foarte fericiți când port Cuir Andalou. 

Îi găsesc un singur cusur: intensitatea scade drastic destul de repede după aplicare. Persistența este în regulă pe haine.
