Made in Spain.

I  initially tested it from an original 1,5 ml sample and I clearly felt parts from Rien by État libre d'Orange and Gomma by Etro. I said that it was less intrusive than the two. Now, after wearing it from the 100 ml bottle, I think it is even calmer and rounded.

In the first stage of the evolution, 2 Man smells vividly of smoking incense, very aromatic and with a sweet note that I encountered in the essential oil of true lavander. The incense is humid and dry at the same time. I am reminded of orthodox churches and also of a block of beeswax. I like the fragrance a lot now.

There is a bitter element somewhere in the background that I recognise from Encre noire sport by Lalique.

In the drydown, applied on skin, the dry smoke gets bolder. It is not a woody smoke, but of resins. The incense facet recedes. A vegetal and slightly sour smell, similar to that of bergamot, now appears. Maybe even some red berries.

I smelled this combination of dry smokiness and bergamot sourness in other fragrances too and I am not its biggest fan. Having said that, I like the drydown, however, my favourite part of 2 Man is when I freshly spray it.

The intensity leaves a lot to be desired.
In conclusion, a masculine-unisex perfume that I enjoy a lot.

My verdict: 9 out of 10.
