I notice a dense, vegetal odour of tomato leaves but also of another plant, one akin to chopped lovage leaves. A citrussy note of lemon juice gives it sourness. And there is a big dose of salt present as well.
The fragrance goes in the gastronomic direction overall. I am somewhat reminded of the smell emitted by cooking an instant tomato cream soup or boilling chopped tomatoes. Furthermore, L'ombre dans l'eau recalls those bouillon/stock cubes wrapped in aluminium foil that one adds in soups to improve their flavour.
The savory aspect previously mentioned goes hand in hand with the scent's sweet facet. If I check the pyramid of notes, I can state that it comes from the rose. The combination is successful and the fragrance can be sprayed without problems.
One interesting fact: my nose was a little bit stuffed one day and I was wearing L'ombre dans l'eau. There was this whiff of beer or block of fresh yeast around me, similar to the one in Malt by Akro, and I realised at some point that it was coming from my perfume. And I liked it.
A delicious fragrance.
My verdict: 10 out of 10.
