Etro displays slightly different notes on its official website: cedarwood, basil, pepper, iris (so pepper and iris instead of bergamot and benzoin). Here is how I perceive the perfume:
Pegaso is extremely fresh and I can compare it to a juice made out of citruses (lemon and something a little sweet), their flesh in too, diluted with water, vaguely bitter, home-made. The citrussy element does not show to be tart/acidic or sharp, but well behaved; it almost seems to be derived from a leaf crushed between the fingers rather than from a fruit, because it also smells vegetal. It bears a resemblance to the aroma of verbena.
A mentholated note, mellow and calm, pretty perceptible, reminds me of fresh mint leaves. It does not take the path of toothpaste or menthol, and it does not bring the cooling sensation. Au contraire, Pegaso smells tepid.
The fragrance aqueous side dominates and it leaves me with the impression of water, steam and taking a shower. Probably because it smells soapy, of soapsuds more precisely.
The sweetness is minimum, a good thing for me. Somewhat floral, but very aromatic, I can call the perfume unisex.
Although both of the olfactory pyramids illustrate cedarwood (a lax term as a matter of fact, which encloses various species having diverse olfactory profiles), I feel absolutely nothing dry or woody about Pegaso. And I also get a whiff of tobacco from an unlit cigarette, but only when I wear the perfume on the skin. Maybe this is the wannabe woody note. And the pepper (probably black pepper) exists at a lower level.
Pegaso is airy, carefree, optimistic. Albeit uncomplicated and linear, smelling the same from the beginning until the end, I find it utterly attractive. It goes well in the summer torrid days.

It has two shortfalls: weak intensity after a half an hour after the application, and minimal persistence. However, I'm so addicted to it that I will overlook them.

Pegaso este extrem de proaspăt și îl compar cu un suc de citrice (lămâie plus ceva dulceag) cu tot cu pulpă, diluat cu apă, vag amărui, făcut în casă. Partea citrică nu se relevă acră/acidă sau ascuțită, ci așezată; ea pare derivată mai degrabă dintr-o frunză zdrobită între degete decât dintr-un fruct, căci miroase și vegetal. Aduce oarecum și cu aroma verbinei.
O notă mentolată, moale și calmă, foarte perceptibilă, îmi amintește de frunzele proaspete de mentă. Ea nu virează deloc în direcția pastei de dinți sau a mentolului și nu vine cu senzația de rece. Dimpotrivă, Pegaso miroase călduț.
Aroma apoasă domină parfumul și impresia pe care mi-o lasă este de duș, de aburi și, da, de apă. Probabil pentru că miroase săpunos, precum clăbucii de săpun mai precis.
Dulceața este minimă, un lucru bun pentru mine. Vag floral, dar foarte aromat, îl pot caracteriza drept unisex.
Deși ambele piramide olfactive includ lemnul de cedru (un termen lax de altfel, ce înglobează diverse specii cu diverse profiluri olfactive), nu simt absolut nimic uscat și lemnos în Pegaso. Ce mai percep, este și o adiere de tutun de țigară neaprinsă, dar numai când port parfumul pe piele. Poate acestea se vrea nota lemnoasă. Iar piperul (probabil piper negru) există la un nivel redus.
Pegaso este aerisit, relaxat, pozitiv. Chiar dacă necomplicat și liniar, mirosind la fel de la început până la sfârșit, îl găsesc atrăgător peste măsură. Se potrivește perfect zilelor toride de vară.
Are două neajunsuri: intensitate foarte slabă după o jumătate oră de la pulverizare și persistență minimă. Cu toate acestea, sunt atât de îndrăgostită de el încât i le voi trece cu vederea.
Nota mea: 10 din 10.
