  I t smells of lemon peel and not juicy. The rind's quintessential bitterness does not stand out in relief in an excessive manner, but I can feel it. Is seems as if the scent is that of a tisane made out of lemons peel (if such a thing exists). The odour is calm and mellow as it does not have that freshness and sparkle of the citrus fruit pulp.

Sniffed closely, I find Secret De Rochas - Oud Mystère to be dark, slightly rubbery, but not unpleasant. This part brings thickness to the composition and lifts it above the stage of being a simple lemon rind. Smelled from afar, the citrus element dominates.

As the hours go by, the lemon scent drops its intensity a little bit. The perfume gets slightly sweeter and more rounded. No ingredient comes forward. Furthermore, even if I have in front of my eyes the list with the perfumed notes, I cannot identify them in the fragrance that I sprayed on me.
Honestly, I did not find Secret De Rochas - Oud Mystère interesting in the beginning, but now, in this stage, it became downright banal.

With each passing day in which I wore it, I attemped to find some qualities that would made me change my judgment about it. However, things did not improve. I find its odour far too plain. I hold that the bitter citric smell is the one to impart a cheap side to the perfume. And the reason behind this would be that it does not fit with the present composition. It looks to me like something is missing, a component that should spread life and character.

There is nothing unpleasant about Secret De Rochas - Oud Mystère. It is very wearable and I believe it would disturb nobody. The fragrance is acceptable, only that it does not tell me anything.

Even if the intensity stays low, there is also a positive aspect in all these: the persistence is high as I can smell the scent days in a row on the same piece of garment if I spray it in great quantity.

 Miroase a coajă de lămâie nezemoasă. Amăreala specifică cojii nu iese în evidență exagerat, dar o simt. Pare ca și cum ar fi vorba despre un ceai făcut din coji de lămâi (dacă așa ceva chiar există). Aroma este potolită și moale, căci nu are acea prospețime și vivacitate a pulpei unui fruct citric.

Mirosit de aproape, Secret De Rochas - Oud Mystère mi se pare întunecat, ușor cauciucat, dar nu neplăcut. Această parte aduce densitate compoziției și o ridică puțin din stadiul de a fi doar o simplă coajă de lămâie. Mirosit de la depărtare, domină partea citrică.

Odată cu trecerea orelor, aroma de lămâie scade puțin din intensitate. Parfumul se îndulcește ușor și se rotunjește. Niciun ingredient nu iese totuși în evidență. Mai mult, nici dacă am lista cu notele parfumate în fața ochilor, nu le pot identifica în parfumul pe care l-am pulverizat pe mine.

Sincer, dacă Secret De Rochas - Oud Mystère mi se părea neinteresant la început, acum el a devenit de-a dreptul banal în această etapă. 

Cu fiecare zi în care l-am purtat, am încercat să-i găsesc calități care să mă facă să îmi schimb părerea despre el. Dar lucrurile nu s-au îmbunătățit. Aroma lui mi se pare mult prea simplă. Consider că aroma amar-citrică este cea care imprimă parfumului o fațetă ieftină. Explicația pe care am găsit-o ar fi că nu se potrivește în compoziția de față. Am impresia că îi lipsește ceva, acel ingredient care să-i fi dat viață și caracter.

Secret De Rochas - Oud Mystère nu are nimic neplăcut în el. Este foarte purtabil și nu cred că ar deranja pe cineva cu ceva vreodată. Este un parfum acceptabil, doar că nu îmi spune absolut nimic. 

Chiar dacă intensitatea stă la un nivel scăzut, există și un aspect pozitiv în toate acestea: persistența este mare, putând să îl simt pe aceeași haină zile la rând dacă îl pulverizez în cantitate destul de mare.
