  I  took notice of this fragrance after I had read some reviews about how it would resemble Ysatis by Givenchy, a well-known scent. I admit that I have never tried this, so I cannot comment in this regard.

Clin d'Œil Passionnée starts with the same scent that I felt in the opening of Cinnabar by Estēe Lauder, Far Away by Avon and White Diamonds by Elizabeth Taylor. I am talking about a slightly
chemical, transparent, and "orange" aroma (this is the colour that comes to mind in that moment). But, in this case, it is not powerful and disappears pretty quickly, so I am not bothered for too long.

Clin d'Œil Passionnée smells sweet, but not exagerated, very feminine, floral, dense, and warm. It is clearly a  composition dominated by white flowers because I sense its strong odour. For that matter, I place it into the same category as Amarige by Givenchy, meaning that it fits many people tastes and in which I enclose the fragrances I always describe as "smelling of perfume". If it had had a greater intensity, it would have made it to the class of olfactory bomb perfumes, just like the latter.

I find that the description on the back of the packaging highly corresponds to reality:

"A sensual, provocative fragrance - a tribute to women's feminity. A subtle harmony of oriental, floral notes."

And indeed, I sense there is something sensual about it.

Every time I spray it, I am reminded of middle school. I believe a teacher was wearing something similar and maybe it was Ysatis itself. It rushes into my mind the image of a black sweater, slightly long, having big red roses on it (or of a similar colour) (just like in the picture on the right) that I know it was worn both by a colleague and an educator back then. I do not understand why, but this perfume fathers a comforting sensation when I wear it.

The quality of Clin d'Œil Passionnée's artistic composition far exceeds that of Soirée d'Été's by Héloïse de V., the latter being 7 times more costly. Even though the occasions are rare, here I came across an inexpensive fragrance whose scent is beyond its price.

The grade I gave it reflects that. Much I think of it as a pleasant perfume, it doesn't particularly make me grab it like others from my collection do.

My verdict: 7 out of 10.

 A m devenit interesată de acest parfum după ce am citit niște recenzii cum că s-ar asemăna cu Ysatis de Givenchy, un parfum foarte cunoscut. Recunosc că nu l-am încercat niciodată pe acesta, așa că nu pot comenta în acest sens.

Clin d'Œil Passionnée începe cu același miros pe care l-am mai simțit și în deschiderea lui Cinnabar de Estēe Lauder, Far Away de Avon și a lui White Diamonds de Elizabeth Taylor. Este vorba despre o aromă ușor chimică, transparentă și „portocalie” (această culoare îmi vine în minte în acel moment). Dar, în cazul de față, nu este puternică și dispare destul de repede, așa că nu mă deranjează prea mult timp.

Clin d'Œil Passionnée miroase dulce, dar nu exagerat, foarte feminin, floral, dens și cald. Este clar o compoziție dominată de flori albe căci îl percep ca fiind concentrat. Din acest punct de vedere, îl încadrez în categoria lui Amarige de Givenchy, adică se potrivește multor gusturi și în care eu includ aromele despre care zic mereu că  „miros a parfum”. Dacă ar fi avut intensitatea mult mai mare, ar fi intrat în clasa de parfumuri bombă olfactivă, la fel ca acesta din urmă.

Consider că descrierea de pe spatele ambalajului se potrivește cum nu se poate mai bine cu realitatea:

„Un parfum senzual, provocator - un tribut adus feminitații femeilor. O armonie fină de note orientale, florale.”

Și, într-adevăr, mi se pare că are ceva senzual în el.

De fiecare data când îl pulverizez, îmi amintesc de școala generală. Am vaga impresie că o învățătoare/profesoară purta așa ceva și poate era vorba chiar de Ysatis. Îmi vine în minte imaginea unui pulover ușor lung, cu trandafiri mari, roșii (sau de o culoare asemănătoare), pe fundal negru (ca în imaginea de sus), văzut în acele vremuri prin școală, atât la o colegă, cât și la o profesoară. Nu știu de ce, dar acest parfum îmi creează o senzație de confort atunci când îl port.

Calitatea compoziției artistice a lui Clin d'Œil Passionnée este cu mult peste cea a lui Soirée d'Été de Héloïse de V., acesta din urmă costând de 7 ori mai mult. Deși sunt foarte rare ocaziile, iată că am întâlnit un parfum ce costă puțin, dar al cărui miros îi depășește prețul.

Calificativul pe care i l-am dat reflectă și faptul că, deși îl consider un parfum plăcut și deloc de ocolit, nu mă atrage în mod deosebit să-l port așa cum o fac altele din colecția personală.

Nota mea: 7 din 10.
