  I  would say that its main characteristic is the fizziness: not like sparkling wine, but like carbonated water. Not only that it smells bubbly, but also watered down, exactly how a drink made with sprakling water tastes.

Something in Givenchy III gives it a slightly powdery sensation, although not like talcum powder or face powder. And I also get a gum impression. These two elements stem from the same place: a dark chocolate tablet, not really bitter, very bland tasting and smelling, with a dusty coat on the surface, with small insertions of berries. Now imagine that you finely grate the tablet, and there you have the powderiness source and smell. Then you insert a piece of the chocolate in your mouth and realize that it is quite chewy, hence the gum feeling.

Looking at the perfume pyramid, I become aware that none of the notes is obvious. That subdued bitterness must come from the galbanum nevertheless, because I think there is a smouldering vegetal odour.
A slight tartness floats around once in a blue moon and adds some kick.
Givenchy III has a small "perfumy" vibe and I see the jasmine contributing to this.

The whole description that I made could give the sensation that Givenchy III is an interesting perfume, which could not be more far from the truth. I perceived all of the above odours exclusively for fifteen minutes upon spraying. After that, Givenchy III is just a nondescript smell and, most of all, a diluted liquid through and through, deceptively sold as fine fragrance.

My verdict: 2 out of 10.

 Aș spune că principala sa caracteristică este efervescența: nu ca vinul spumant, ci ca apa carbogazoasă. Nu miroase doar „bubbly”, dar și diluat, așa cum se simte la gust o băutură realizată cu sifon.

Ceva din Givenchy III produce o senzație ușoară de pudră, deși nu precum pudra de talc sau cea de față. Și simt și ceva gumat. Aceste două elemente izvorăsc din același loc: o tabletă de ciocolată neagră, nu chiar amară, insipidă și cu gust mult atenuat, cu un film prăfos pe suprafața sa, cu inserții mici de fructe de pădure. Acum imaginează-ți că razi fin o parte din tabletă și, iată, ai sursa și mirosul pudrei. Apoi, inserezi o bucată din ciocolată în gură și realizezi că se mestecă ca o caramea moale, rezultând de aici a două impresie, cea de gumă.

Uitându-mă la piramida olfactivă, îmi dau seama că niciuna dintre note nu este evidentă. Este totuși posibil ca acea amăreală discretă să provină de la galban, deoarece cred că există o aromă vegetală înăbușită.
O ușoară aciditate își face prezența o dată la o mie de ani și aduce vigoare.
Givenchy III mi se pare ușor „parfumat” și consider că iasomia imprimă acest efect.

Întreaga descriere pe care am făcut-o poate lăsa impresia că Givenchy III este un produs interesant, ceea ce nu este deloc adevărat. Am simțit toate mirosurile de mai sus doar în primele cincisprezece minute după pulverizare. După aceea, Givenchy III este doar o aromă fără culoare și, mai ales, un lichid diluat de la un capăt la altul, vândut în mod amăgitor ca parfum.
